De natuur vormt een belangrijke inspiratiebron voor het werk van Lou Vos. Wat haar fascineert is de grootsheid, kracht en kwetsbaarheid van de natuur. In de abstractie vind ik de vrijheid om deze ‘landschappen’ te laten ontstaan, te verkennen, en uiteindelijk te herkennen. Ik hou van de abstractie waarin niet alles wordt verteld, geen houvast wordt gegeven. Een eigen ontdekkingsreis door een landschap.

Nature is an important source of inspiration for the work of Lou Vos. She is inspired by the greatness, power and vulnerability of nature. In the abstraction, I find the freedom to create these ‘landscapes’, to explore these and finally recognise there. I love the abstraction where not everything is told, that has no grip. An own discovery tour through a landscape.
