In zijn werk als beeldend kunstenaar laat Johan Kuhlmann zich inspireren door huizen en hutten, silo’s en industriële installaties. Reizend en zwervend door vooral verstedelijkte gebieden komt hij deze bij voorkeur toevallig tegen. Hij fotografeert ze voor zijn fotoblog ‘Onderweg’.
